General Surgery

General surgeons are specialists who manage a variety of conditions that affect all areas of the body, including the abdominal wall, breast, extremities, head and neck, skin, soft tissues and the endocrine, gastrointestinal and vascular systems. General surgeons diagnose and provide preoperative, operative, and postoperative care. Minimally invasive surgical techniques are used when medically appropriate.

  • Hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery

  • Laparoscopic and open gallbladder, hernia and bowel surgeries
  • Liver and pancreas surgeries
  • Tumor excision
  • Peritoneal dialysis catheter placement and removal
  • Thyroid and parathyroid surgery
  • Tracheostomy placement and removal and PEG tube placement
  • Upper and lower GI endoscopies, including ERCP
