A native of Huntington, Ind., Heather Wolfe, MD, FAAP, joined Lutheran Medical Group in 2015. Dr. Wolfe has two medical directorships at Lutheran Children’s Hospital, neonatal follow-up and pediatric continuing medical education.

Prior to joining LMG, Dr. Wolfe was a pediatrician in private practice at Pediatric Associates, Inc., in Fort Wayne, for 12 years. During that time, Dr. Wolfe, who is a board-certified pediatrician, served as chair of the pediatric clinical services committee at Lutheran Hospital and oversaw the implementation of computerized physician order entry for pediatricians. She also served on the steering committee for the pediatric emergency department at Lutheran and on the board of directors for Neighborhood Health Clinics.

Dr. Wolfe graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1994 from Indiana University in Bloomington, where she was a member of the Golden Key and the Phi Beta Kappa national honor societies. She earned a medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 1999 and completed a pediatric residency at Riley Hospital for Children/Indiana University Health in Indianapolis in 2002.

Dr. Wolfe, who is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the Fort Wayne Medical Society, enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and being a mom. She lives in Fort Wayne with her husband, James, and children, Samantha and Ben.
