Manuel J. Cervoni, MD
Manuel Cervoni, MD, joined the pulmonology team at Lutheran Medical Group in September 1996. Dr. Cervoni received a bachelor's degree from Tufts University in Medford, Mass., and a medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, and he was a pulmonary and critical care fellow at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., in 1991.
Dr. Cervoni, who is board certified in internal and sleep medicine, pulmonology and critical care, is a U.S. Army veteran with 10 years of service. He served as director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit and respiratory care services at Tripler Army Medical Center, in Honolulu from 1991 to 1995. He earned a Meritorious Service Medal for distinguished clinical service while at Tripler, and he was appointed assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
