Mark A. King, DO
A member of Brooklyn Medical Associates since 1990, Dr. King became a Lutheran Medical Group member when BMA joined LMG in August 2010.
A primary care physician, Dr. King completed his undergraduate work at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, in 1978. He earned a medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines in 1987, and he completed a residency with the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program in 1990.
Dr. King serves as chairman of the Lutheran Health Network, Lutheran Hospital and The Orthopedic Hospital boards of directors and serves on the LHN investor group board. In addition, he acts as assistant director of the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program's family practice residency program, and he serves as primary care physician for several Fort Wayne professional (Komets, Mad Ants and TinCaps) and high school teams.
Dr. King is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Fort Wayne Medical Society.
