Sanjiv G. Aggarwal, MD, FACC
Sanjiv Aggarwal, MD, FACC, who joined Lutheran Medical Group in July 1999, earned a medical degree from B.J. Medical College and the University of Pune in Pune, India. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the Medical Center of Central Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts in Worcester, where he served as the chief internal medicine resident. Dr. Aggarwal completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Brown University School of Medicine, Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I., and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Tufts University School of Medicine, Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.
Dr. Aggarwal served as a research assistant for the Community Health Department and as a research coordinator for Veterans' Hospital in Providence. Dr. Aggarwal is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association and the Indiana State Medical Association, and he is president of the Fort Wayne Medical Society.
Dr. Aggarwal's wife, Lakshmi, is an oncologist with Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology.
