"I believe it is very important that all of our patients are treated with respect and dignity and have a chance to be heard... I think it's very important the patients are involved in their healthcare and that we're both on the same page. "— Theresa Hoffman, DO

Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Hoffman loves being outside on a bike, in a kayak (she owns three!) or in a pair of hiking boots. She's a dog lover, too, so her pets join her in the great outdoors whenever possible. Her passion for nature overlaps her profession — she has a fellowship in wilderness medicine. She's used this skill on trips to third world countries for disaster relief, and it's helped her find better ways to treat patients right at home.

History
Fort Wayne native, Dr. Hoffman became a member of Lutheran Medical Group in August 2010 when her former group, Brooklyn Medical Associates, joined LMG. Dr. Hoffman, a primary care physician, joined BMA in 1995.

She completed an internship at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke Medical Center in Chicago in 1993 and a residency with Fort Wayne Medical Education Program in 1995.
